Who it's for

WooCommerce is a good fit if you already have a WordPress website, sell a moderate number of products, or need something Shopify makes awkward, like unusual pricing rules or extra fields at checkout.

It does need a little more care than Shopify: updates, backups and decent hosting. I set all of that up properly from the first day, so you're not left firefighting later.

What I can build for you

  • A new WooCommerce store, or a shop added to your existing WordPress site
  • Simple products, variations like sizes and colours, bundles and made-to-order items
  • Payment gateways like Razorpay and PayU, plus cash on delivery with rules you control
  • Shipping by pin code, weight or order value
  • Custom checkout fields, GST details on invoices, and order emails that match your brand
  • Speed work so product and category pages stay quick as your catalogue grows

How a WooCommerce project usually goes

  1. Understand how you sellProducts, variations, shipping, taxes and payments. Getting these right on paper saves a lot of rework.
  2. Design the shopHome, category, product, cart and checkout pages, designed around your products and your customers.
  3. Build and testI build on a staging site and place real test orders with each payment method before anything goes live.
  4. Launch and handoverSSL, backups and security are set up at launch, and you get a walkthrough of managing orders and stock. 30 days of support are included.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify has a monthly fee but asks less of you. WooCommerce is free software, but you pay for good hosting and someone needs to look after updates.

If you just want to focus on selling, I'll usually point you to Shopify. If you want ownership and flexibility, or you're already on WordPress, WooCommerce is a strong choice.

Common questions

Can you add a shop to my existing WordPress website?

Yes. WooCommerce plugs into your current site, so you keep your pages and design and gain a shop, cart and checkout.

Is WooCommerce secure?

Yes, when it's kept up to date and on good hosting. I set up SSL, a firewall, automatic backups and login protection at launch, and I can look after updates every month if you'd rather not.

Can customers pay with UPI?

Yes. Gateways like Razorpay and PayU support UPI, cards, net banking and wallets in the same checkout.
