WordPress suits businesses whose website mostly needs to explain, reassure and bring in enquiries. I've built WordPress sites for a pharmaceutical company in Chennai and a not-for-profit eye hospital in Kolkata.

What I avoid
A lot of WordPress sites are slow because of how they were put together: a heavy theme, twenty plugins and uncompressed images. I keep plugins to the ones you actually use and compress images as part of the build.
I also don't lock you into premium tools you'll have to keep paying for. You get full admin access, and the site is yours.
Common questions
Can I update the website myself after launch?
Yes. Text, images, products and blog posts can all be edited from the WordPress dashboard. I'll walk you through it at handover and leave you a short video to come back to.
My WordPress site is slow. Can you fix it without a rebuild?
Often, yes. I start with a speed check to find what's slowing it down, which is usually images, plugins or hosting, and fix those first. A rebuild only makes sense if the theme itself is the problem.
Do you write the content?
I'll structure it with you, edit what you send, and write the short pieces like headings and buttons. For full pages, the best words usually come from you, because you know your customers. I'll ask the right questions to make that easier.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain, hosting and WordPress admin are all in your name, and you can take the site anywhere.
