Shopify store development
I build Shopify stores that look like your brand, load fast on a phone and are easy for you to run day to day. No bloated themes, and no apps you don't need.
Who I usually work with
Most of my Shopify clients are small and growing brands. A wellness company launching its first proper store. A food brand that sells gift boxes around the festivals. A clothing label that has outgrown taking orders over Instagram messages.
They know their product inside out. What they want from me is a store that works, a checkout that doesn't lose customers, and someone who answers when something goes wrong.
What I can build for you
- A new store from scratch, set up with your products, collections, shipping and payment gateways
- A custom theme, or a reworked version of the one you have, built with sections you can rearrange yourself in the theme editor
- Product pages that answer questions before customers ask: size guides, ingredients, delivery times
- Bundles, combo offers, gift boxes and subscriptions
- Apps for reviews, WhatsApp chat, email marketing and shipping, keeping the list short so the store stays fast
- Speed fixes for a store that has slowed down after years of installed apps
How a Shopify project usually goes
- A short callYou tell me what you sell, who buys it and what isn't working today. I'll ask about shipping, payments and how many products you have.
- A written planBefore any design work you get a plain list of pages, features and apps, with a fixed quote. No surprises halfway through.
- Design and buildI work on a development theme, so your live store keeps selling while I build. You see progress as it happens and can give feedback early.
- Launch and handoverI connect your domain, test checkout on real phones, and record a short video showing how to add products and run offers. Every project includes 30 days of support after launch.
When Shopify is the right choice, and when it isn't
Shopify is my first suggestion when selling online is the main job of the website. Hosting, security and checkout are handled for you, and the admin is simple enough that you won't need a developer to add a product.
If your site is mostly information, like a clinic, a company profile or a blog, WordPress is usually cheaper to run. If you already use WordPress and only want to sell a few products, WooCommerce can make more sense. I build all three, so I'll tell you honestly which one fits.
Common questions
Can you redesign my Shopify store without losing orders or customers?
Yes. I build the new design on a copy of your theme and only publish it once you've approved it. Your products, customers and order history stay exactly where they are.
Do you set up Indian payment gateways?
Yes. Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree and cash on delivery all work with Shopify, and I'll set up whichever suits your business, along with PayPal if you sell abroad.
Will I be able to update the store myself?
That's the whole idea. I build with Shopify sections, so you can change banners, text and product blocks from the theme editor without touching code. You also get a recorded walkthrough at handover.
How do we get started?
Send me a message with a link to your current store or Instagram page and a rough idea of what you need. I reply within 4 hours with questions or a next step.
